Sleepless - Every cop film cliché you can imagine, tick 'em off!
The first 30 minutes of the film, is a passable action film, but it isn't amazing, unfortunately it quickly goes downhill. The plot is about bent Las Vegas cops, drugs, guns, abduction, action, violence - sounds promising.
Starts promisingly.
The opening scene is a car chase but it went downhill from there, for instance being stabbed in the side and subsequently getting in countless fights over the next 90 minutes! ...
But it only seemed to hurt when Jamie Foxx was in a stairwell trying to escape!
The entire film keeps you wondering …
Why is this happening?
That just could never happen!
I wonder if they'll wheel out the next cliché? – oh yes, there it is!
The last 20 minutes, comes around, and you just stop caring! The title doesn't make any sense.
It's called 'Sleepless' but the majority is so boooorrrringggg.
You'll get plenty of sleep with this!!!
